“At the time of pain and vague light,
on its Golem the eyes were delayed.
Who will tell us the things God
felt as he looked at his Rabin in Prague?”

The Threshold Book is the first book made up of WORKS ON PAPER. The following artists have participated in the project: CARLOS ALFREDO ARA MONTI, MARIA EUGENIA NAKAMURA, LORENA COLMENERO, SANTIAGO RAFFAGHELLI, ANDRES NEGRONI, ANDRES GORI, GUSTAVO PEREZ CABRIADA, MARIANO GONZALEZ, JUAN MIGUEL PITA, PABLO LEHMANN, EDUARDO GAZZANIGA, GERARDO ACOSTA LAMBERT Y RICARDO VILLARRAZA.
It includes a prologue written by the guest artist BARBARA GONZALEZ as well as paperworks on its pages produced in the paper fixture technique or paper glued to paper by the artists mentioned earlier. Other interventions of these artists can be seen on the rest of the works in order to support the concept of intertextuality (or reflex).
Each page in the book has been formally designed consisting in a rotated square within a larger square.
The Threshold Book is born out of the poem “The Golem” by Jorge Luis Borges as well as of the novel “Der Golem” by the Austrian writer Gustav Meyrink. In general terms, the book is intended to work as a whole as it lies on an oniric reading process, following Meyrink words included in his novel above mentioned, thus discarding coherence or literality in the visual text.
